One Not So Good Thing

Today we had the unfortunate task of signing our dog over to the animal foundation hospital (vet) that we had to bring our dog to because she had been hit by a car. The surgery would have cost us $3500 + that we just didn't have. We called some animal places in hope that we'd be able to get part of the expenses covered, but to no avail. We thought for awhile that she'd have to be put asleep, which may still be the case, but they will at least call and let us know how she is and if they have to. But, the good thing was the few months of good times (and bad, like when she'd chew up shoes) that she brought us. The end.
