Scored a free place to stay for jazzfest from a generous friend. Had a nearly equally generous offer from the co-author of this blog, just not enough room for two boarders, but deeply appreciated nonetheless.
I should also be reporting in the next day or so that a certain photographic print is mounted and ready for delivery to NOLA.
