I had a generally good day today...a smile from a girl whose body language said, "HEY!" A good find. An eighteen wheeler going my way that had RAVEN across his trailer indicating I was heading the right way. And then, the following message from Melba:
"justonegoodthing - an incredible blog. It is always the small things, the unexpected things, that make up realize that life really is a beautiful gift. Too often we forget to count these as our blessing for the day. A few days ago, three deer crossed the drive as we were pulling out, what an awesome sight. In the Spring, we get to watch the barn swallows build nests on our porch posts, lay their eggs, then raise a new little family of barn swallows - a gift for us. An unexpected note or call from an old friend, or the kindness of a stranger - it's all about the little things in life. These are the things that make us ready to meet each day - waiting to see what special favors it will bring. Beautiful. I am so proud of you and Art for doing this one. " - Melba
